Our accident pages and guides are written and maintained by the Swift Accident Help Editorial Team, the team at Swift Attorney responsible for the information on this website. Swift Attorney is an accident help and referral service. It is not a law firm, and the editorial team does not give legal or medical advice.

Our guides are not written or reviewed by attorneys or medical professionals, and we do not describe them as legally or medically reviewed. We base statements about Florida law, insurance and crash reports on official, primary sources, such as:

• the Florida Statutes, as published by the Florida Legislature;

• federal regulations, where they apply; and

Each page lists the sources it relies on. If we cannot confirm a fact in an official source, we leave it out rather than guess.

• Invented statistics, case results, reviews or credentials.
• Legal advice about a particular person’s situation.
• Content that implies Swift Attorney is a law firm or that contacting us creates an attorney-client relationship.

Laws, fees and agency processes change. Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed, and we review pages when we learn that a source has changed. Because a page may not reflect a very recent change, always check the linked official source for the current rules.
